Selection Criteria

Awards will be given in two categories:

  • Individual (Administrator/Manager or Staff)

The Individual award is designed to recognize an outstanding individual in a SCITDA agency. This individual may be a manager, whose primary responsibility is to manage or administer a program, a unit, or a division within the organization, or a staff person, whose primary responsibility is to give support to the management and to the business process within the organization.

  • Team

The Team award is designed to recognize excellence in collaborative and innovative technology-based projects.

Each agency can submit one nomination in each category.

Winning Entries

Each year the Innovation in Technology Award will be presented during the South Carolina Information Technology Directors Association (SCITDA) Fall Conference. Each winner will receive:

  • A plaque symbolizing the individual or team's outstanding achievement.
  • Complimentary registration and room (if located more than 50 miles from the conference) to the Fall Conference for the individual award, as well as for one (1) member chosen by the team for their award. All team members will receive complimentary registration to the Fall Conference.
